Rules & Acceptable Use Policy

The following Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy")
governs the use of the AcmeChats.com
ChatRooms&MessageBoards ("Chat").
Please read the rules contained in this Policy
carefully. Your use of the Chat will constitute
your agreement to comply with these rules. If you
cannot agree with these rules, please do not use
the Chat. These rules may be modified by
AcmeChats.com from time to time, with notice of
revisions to be announced on this web site.
Continued access of the Chat by you will
constitute your acceptance of any changes or
revisions to the Policy.

This Chat is intended to provide a place for a
free-flowing exchange of information, opinions
and comments. Your failure to follow the rules of
the Chat may result in termination of your access
to the Chat and/or other remedies.

AcmeChats.com does not necessarily endorse,
support, sanction, encourage, verify, or agree
with the comments, opinions, or statements
posted in the Chat. Any information or material
placed online, including advice and opinions, are
the views and responsibility of those who post the
statements, and does not necessarily represent
the views of AcmeChats.com

Do Not Give Personal
Information to Anyone.

This is for YOUR safety. It means you are not
allowed to post phone numbers, street addresses,
town names, last names, school names, credit
card info, or email addresses.

Do Not Use Inappropriate
Language.

This one's simple. We do not allow sex talk,
explicitly violent talk, fights, talk about weapons,
racist language, or other abusive language.

No Screen Wasting.

What's Screen Wasting? That's stuff like
flooding the chat rooms with the same message
over and over. Or typing in nonsense like
"Agfhgffda ashdhfdhg." No one wants to see that
and it just clogs up the system. It also makes it
harder for the monitors to do their jobs, and
they'll warn you or kick you out.

Use of The Service by You

You agree not to use any obscene, indecent, or
offensive language or to place in the Chat any
material that is defamatory, abusive, harassing,
or hateful. Further, you may not place in the Chat
any material that is encrypted, constitutes junk
mail or unauthorized advertising, invades
anyone's privacy, or encourages conduct that
would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to
civil liability, or that otherwise violates any local,
state, national or international law or regulation.
You agree to use the Chat only for lawful
purposes and you acknowledge that your failure
to do so may subject you to civil and criminal
liability.

You are responsible for ensuring that any
material you share in the Chat, including but not
limited to text, photographs, and sound, does not
violate the copyright, trademark, trade secret or
any other personal or proprietary rights of any
third party or is posted with the permission of the
owner(s) of such rights.

Material on the Chat is for your personal use
only. The Chat contains copyrighted and other
proprietary information. You may not in any way
make commercial or other unauthorized use, by
publication, re-transmission, distribution,
performance, caching, or otherwise, of material
obtained through the Chat, except as permitted
by the Copyright Act or other law.

You agree not to disrupt or interfere with the
Chat, nor to alter or tamper with any information
or materials on or associated with the Chat.

Certain Chats, including but not limited to
scheduled "special event" Chats, may include a
moderator whose presence is intended to guide
the conversation and facilitate interaction in the
Chat. You acknowledge that this moderator is
responsible for ensuring that all participants
abide by the rules as stated in this Policy, and
agree to abide by any decisions the moderator
makes with respect to conducting the Chat.

Materials Posted by Others

You agree that AcmeChats.com is not
responsible, and shall have no liability to you,
with respect to any information or materials
posted by others, including defamatory, offensive
or illicit material.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify AcmeChats.com and its
affiliates, employees, agents and representatives,
and to hold them harmless, from any and all
claims and liabilities (including attorneys fees)
which may arise from your submissions, from
your unauthorized use of material obtained
through the Chat, or from your breach of this
Policy, or from any such acts through your use of
the Chat.

Editing and Deletions

AcmeChats.com reserves the right, but
undertakes no duty, to review, edit, move, or
delete any material provided for display or placed
in the Chat, in its sole discretion, without notice.

Termination

AcmeChats.com has the right to terminate your
ability to access the Chat, for any reason, without
notice.
