no puppy mills

I ave acutally went to see a puppy mill first hand in Plymouth, Wis. It was absolutley heartbreaking and every time the weather turns to bitter cold like it is now, I feel like crying.....I know that he doesn't do anything to keep the newborn puppies warm and if some die, the barbaric s.o.b. just chalkes it up to a business loss. The small breed dogs and puppies are in tiny wire cages behind his house and they are stuck in these cages and the breeding females never ever are let out. They go thru their whole life without even knowing what it feels like to have grass under their feet, have a toy or the touch of a loving human. When we went there there was a little Yorkie mamma dog just dancing around and pleading for someone to pick her up, hold her and give her love. I asked if I could take her out and hold her and he wouldn't let me. It was awful and I was haunted by that little dogs eyes following me around and the look of resignation when I walked away. People around here have tried and tried to close him down but the Humane Society says as long they have food, water and clean cages there is nothing they can do about it. He has received death threats, people have tried reasoning with him and educating him but it never changes a thing. It's all about $$$$$$ and as long as ignorant people keep going there and buying his puppies it will never stop.
