Heres a few summer pics.  We've been busy this summer. I just got back on saturday from a week trip to OBX, it was SO refreshing but I dont wanna go back to work!  We stayed in Duck, NC in a condo.  Laid on the beach everyday, went jetskiing in Nags Head one day, seen the wild horses a about a half hour up the road in Corolla, NC.  Took the SUV right onto the beach and drove a good 20 mins down the beach.  I threw a couple pics in of that just because it was so neat.  Rest are around the house.  Hope all of you are having a safe and happy summer, please post some updates!!

My little garden:

Pooh with my mom's Shih Tzu,she baby sat the dogs for me while I was away.  Tootsie recently has gone deaf completely and we fear we might be losing her soon.  She is declining very fast,  my mom is enjoying every moment with her this summer.  She is 14 now.

My nephew playing with dogs:

Just had this floor put in my guest bedroom:

Happy days at the beach with Sally (left) and Joey.  Both now deceased.

We used to go to the beach 4 or 5 times a week - summer and winter.

Town in the background is where we used to live.

Well, the lifeguard I spoke to called them moon fish but I guess they are actually called Moon jellies or moon jelly fish.  They are a harmless species of clear jelly fish that don't sting.  I guess maybe the reason they dont sting is just because they are beat by the waves and their tenatacles fall off, I learned a lot from this first little paragraph on the first webpage!! We seen a TON of those little clear saucers all over the beach. They were washing up on shore by the dozens.  Here is a great photo of them washing up on shore, scroll to the 2nd pic down on this page:
