How are we all liking this winter weather so far?

Well between the snow being dumped on us and the frigid cold temperatures, it is a bit much!
Of course, we did have warm weather very late into the fall, so we did get spoiled.
Now we are expected to go through winter? Which didn't officially start until today?
YIKES!!!

We dont have a drop of snow here, just a ton of rain last week and flooding... a few of the lakes/ponds overflowed and my sister had flooding in her basement that destroyed her sons xbox, basement carpeting destroyed... it was an unfortunate mess.  We also have a lot of ice now as a side treat (ugh) however nothing in the line of snow... we were forecasted to be hit with 6 inches yesterday and got nothing but some sunshine and then last night -10 freezing temps and icy winds today.  Its darned cold out there!

I am really hoping for at least a dusting of snow for the holidays... its just not the same packing up the car full of gifts and getting the dogs ready to trek to my mothers for christmas day without losing at least one of my dogs in the snow LOL... usually its zoey... she absolutely hates the white stuff and whines like a baby because her belly is almost naked with the thin hair she has and with the size of her stub legs, its almost dragging on the ground.  Brrrr.

I'm just glad we got the plow truck this year because as cold as it' been, I don't think I could have dealt with being outside with the snow blower considering the amount of  snow we had so far.
 Business is slow, so...at least I have a better excuse beside "it's the Economy" which I know has more to do with it then the weather..but it's easier to blame the weather...Mentally at least! ;-)

You know, it's not the cold weather, it's not the snow, it's not the crappy roads that I mind.  It's having to shovel the same spot over and over and over again.  If I could do it once and be done, that would be fine.

I don't mind the snow, it's the grey dreary days here.  I love the sunshine!!

I stayed in and worked from home today. Flying to Pittsburgh tomorrow

Negative 4 tonight and negative 20s with wind chill. I really hope this weather doesn't effect the game on Sunday -- we're gonna get us another superbowl! GO steelers!
