What is the normal amount to give a cat, fresh grown, by the leaves of cat nip?  Any opinions? Thanks,  Judy

The ladies at work give our cats a leaf or two. I can ask them just to be sure though.
The leaves didn't seem very big, but then I wasn't paying much attention... I was working!
We have two HUGE cats at work that laze around all day long being fat!
One of them hangs around the nurses office and is mostly the staff cat, while the other one goes from room to room visiting the residents and is more their cat. It's kind of neat.
Anyway, the station secretary keeps a live catnip plant in a cupboard somewhere up there (not sure how it lives) and feeds them catnip off it.

That is so cool that they have cats there.  I use to be an LPN and we would let animals come in and the elderly and sick would just light right up.  Im wondering how that cat nip grows without the sun?   I gave Ozzy 3 good sized leafs and I think it was too much, he got really wacky on me.  Take care, Judy

These two are brother and sister and grew up there since they were kittens.
The residents really do enjoy them!
And let me tell you... they really do rule the roost! They lay around wherever they dang well please!
I've been off, but will have to remember to ask tomorrow about the catnip.

..and for some additional fun, get a can of spray catnip and chase your cat around with it! LOL!
Shhhhhhh, don't tell Beau!
(come to think of it, I think she took that can away from me years ago!)

You are so bad!!
And I forgot that I did ask about it.
They don't keep the plant in the cupboard... but had a baggie of it someone had brought in.
I guess one of the nurses picks some that grows wild by her house! I had no idea catnip grew wild? But then again, these are old, wise nurses... They know everything!
They just give a few leaves.
