I got rats!

I just adopted three ratties 
I've been wanting a blue rat for quite some time now, and I keep checking on this rat forum I'm on, and with local breeders but no one ever has blues... I recently checked the forum again and someone had a lot of rats they rescued who needed homes including several blue females, so I ended up adopting three baby girls last week! Two of them are sisters, and the third (blue blazed) is younger and from a different group she rescued. The little blue blazed rat is the shyest of the group, and the other blue girl is the friendliest. I am going to work on socializing the two who are more timid.


I am still working on naming them, but I'm probably going to name one of the blue rats Fiona and the himalayan maybe Yukiko...

Had rats when I was a kid, but they were just the plain white ones.

I want to keep white mice. Can anyone give me any insight on them? Do they get along best alone or with other mice? I heard they do best in a glass tank rather than in cages because they retain warmth.
